Potager Garden delivers social and therapeutic horticulture programmes that combine meaningful outdoor activity, supportive group environments, and skilled facilitation. Through gardening, shared meals, and time spent in nature, we create inclusive spaces where people can improve wellbeing, build confidence, and feel part of a community.

Our sessions are practical, welcoming, and shaped around the needs of the people who attend.

Framework

Framework is a supported weekly gardening and cooking programme for adults who may feel isolated, disconnected, or in need of structure and purpose.

Participants work together in the garden, learn seasonal skills, and prepare and share a meal. The programme provides routine, gentle physical activity, and a consistent group environment where confidence and relationships can grow over time.

Working Lunch

Working Lunch is a monthly gathering that brings people and those who care for them together for practical activity and shared food.

Sessions usually involve light gardening, seasonal tasks, or simple creative projects, followed by a shared lunch. It offers an accessible way to connect with others, enjoy the garden, and be part of a relaxed and welcoming community space.

The Cove Sessions

Our Macmillan Cove sessions are designed for people affected by cancer, providing a calm, supportive environment in which to spend time outdoors.

Through gentle gardening, conversation, and shared meals, participants can reconnect with nature, build supportive relationships, and experience a different pace of recovery – one that focuses on wellbeing, connection, and steady confidence rather than clinical outcomes.
